Activities 2001

  • November 15th, 2001 - Noon - Bowling Green State University New Music Ensemble, Bowling Green State University, Bryan Hall, Bowling Green, OH. Presented a lecture/demonstration of instrumental improvisation and real-time computer processing with the students enrolled in the New Music Ensemble.
  • Fall 2001: Echoes: for two marimbas (co-authored with Shawn Schietroma), published by Drop 6 Media (Denton, TX).
  • nGen (a multi-platform utility for creating Csound scores and Standard MIDI Files) included on the 2nd edition of The Csound Book CD-ROMS (MIT Press, 2000).  This application is now available for free download (Mac/PC/Linux Intel/IRIX).
  • August 2001 - Biographical citation: 2000 Greatest Musicians of the 20th Century, (2002 Cambridge, England).
  • June 2001 - Received a commission from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's First Hearing Program. The work will be premiered by the Civic Orchestra of Chicago (Cliff Colnot, conductor) on February 11th, 2002 at Orchestra Hall, Chicago, IL.
