  • January 28 - 31, 2015, Residency at Northern Illinois University, Dekalb, Illinois. Activities included:
    • January 30-31: Ensemble Dal Niente will be recording Between the Lynes (1994, flute, cello, and piano), Devouring Time (2010, marimba), and Undercurrents (2013, 14 instruments) for a portrait CD on New Focus Recordings.  Michael Lewanski, conductor.
    • January 29, 8:00pm: Ensemble Dal Niente presented four of my chamber works on a portrait concert at Northern Illinois University featuring Between the Lynes(1994, flute, cello, and piano), Unfoldings (2004, guitar), Devouring Time (2010, marimba), and Returning the Complement (2013, piano). Performers included Gregory Beyer (marimba), Winston Choi (piano), Emma Hospelhorn (flute), Jesse Langen (guitar), and Chris Wild (cello). The concert also included The Secret World of Bookends (2005, 4-channel fixed media).
    • January 29, 11am: Guest lecture: "Quotation in Contemporary Music" on the Northern Illinois University School of Music's All Student Convocation.
    • January 28, 6-8pm: Guest lecture on Max/MSP and my recent work for Northern Illinois University students.
