  • October 19th, 2006, 8:00pm - World premiere of Split (2006) for alto saxophone, bass clarinet, and piano (commissioned by the Thelema Trio of Ghent, Belgium). Bowling Green New Music & Art Festival, Kobacker Hall, Bowling Green, OH.
  • September 30th, 2006, 8:00pm - The Irving Lippel Project. Unfoldings (for solo guitar) performed by Dan Lippel at the Tenri Cultural Institute, New York, NY.
  • September 15th, 2006, 9:00pm - Dan Lippel and Pals at Pressure. Unfoldings (for solo guitar) performed by Dan Lippel at the Pressure Club, N. Clark St., Chicago, IL.
  • June 9th, 2006 -  Deus ex machina by Mikel Kuehn,” one-hour presentation at the MacDowell Colony (June 9, Peterborough, NH).

  • March 31st, 2006, 7:00pm - Vox Electroacoustica (Deborah Norin-Kuehn and Mikel Kuehn) concert featuring works of Luciano Berio, Eric Chasalow, and Mikel Kuehn.   • November 25th, 2005, 7:30pm -World premiere of Tag (2005) for two flutes. Lorna McGhee and Sam Seabrook, flute. Rolston Recital Hall, The Banff Centre, Alberta, Canada.
  • October 2nd-29th, 2005 - International Artist Residency at the Banff Centre, Alberta, Canada.
  • October 27th, 4:30pm -Recital of Works by Kay Rhie and Mikel Kuehn. The concert included performances of four of Kuehn's works: Crack (2001), performed by Sam Seabrook and Barry Cockcroft; Cycles (1990), performed by Irene Wong; Hoodoos Meditation (2005, world premiere), performed by Kuehn; and Music through Prisms (1998) (2-channel version).
  • September 7th, 2005 - Performance of The Secret World of Bookends (2-channel version) at the International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) 2005. L'Auditorie, Barcelona, Spain.

N.B. Kuehn is currently on sabbatical for the 2005-2006 academic year.

  • February 2nd, 2005 - 8pm - U.S. premiere of The Secret World of Bookends (2005) (solo 4-channel electroacoustic music). Bowling Green State Univeristy Faculty Composers' Forum. Bryan Recital Hall, Bowling Green, OH.
  • January 14-15, 2005. Vox Electroacoustica Mini Residency at Huntington Univeristy, Sudburry, Ontario, Canada
    • January 14, 1:30pm: Lecture to students of composer Robert Lemay
    • January 15, 6pm: Carte blanche a Mikel Kuehn: Multi-channel Electroacoustic music concert featuring works by Luciano Berio, Eric Chasalow, Francis Dhomont, Mikel Kuehn, and Jon Christopher Nelson. The concert featured soprano Deborah Norin-Kuehn and included two works by Kuehn: Music through Prisms (multi-channel version) and the world premiere of The Secret World of Bookends (2005) for solo 4-channel "tape".
